We are seeking a research associate to join our team of experts. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting deep-level research on renewable energy and climate, analyzing policies, providing recommendations, and working with various governmental agencies. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and communicating your findings to clients and colleagues through written reports and oral presentations. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to identify research needs and develop strategies to address them.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on a range of topics related to renewable energy, including policy and regulation, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, including industry reports, academic literature, and government databases.
- Develop research plans and protocols, and manage research projects from start to finish.
- Communicate research findings effectively to clients and colleagues through written reports and oral presentations.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to identify research needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the offshore wind industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, energy, environmental science, or a related field.
- Candidates with 3 to 7 years of experience in renewable energy, public policy, and climate issues will be given preference.
- Experience in analysis and research methodology, with a specific focus on renewable energy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
- Demonstrated interest in renewable energy, policy, climate actions, and sustainability.
